Hexham’s weather may not be the finest in February, but we start to see promises of spring, such as snowdrops, coming through. Our winter lights still shine through the dark around the bandstand and there’s plenty to do indoors.

Hexham Abbey
Open to visitors 10am-4pm daily (service times excepted). You can join a tour on Tuesdays at 3pm, Thursdays at 2pm & Saturdays at 11am (£7.50/conc). No booking required – £7.50 adults and free for accompanied under 18s.
Adventours
Gruesome (and fun) walking tours of Hexham – Saturdays at 1pm.
Queen’s Hall
This elegant old building on Beaumont Street contains art galleries, a large theatre, a studio, Hexham’s library and a popular cafe. Closed Sundays.
Forum Cinema
This Art Deco gem shows films seven days a week. The Forum offers a great range of films and live screenings ranging from family favourites to blockbusters and foreign films.
